Explanations

I feel I should explain my blog title and pseudonym. Inside and Out was actually inspired by the title of another Feist song. It was my favorite song prior to my recent disaster, and now it is difficult to listen to without getting choked up. (I suppose a good sign of progress will be when I am able to listen to it again without turning into a blubbering idiot.)

As for the pseudonym, Finding Noel, it was inspired by a book my father gave me for Christmas. Noel is my middle name. It works perfectly, because I feel I am on the cusp of a period in which I will do some deep soul searching and self-discovery. I didn't want to use something like "Finding Myself" or even "Finding Tracy" -- it wouldn't have worked. I don't feel lost or that I do not know who I am; I think I have a pretty decent grasp on who 'Tracy' is. But I believe one is constantly evolving and should be constantly learning as they grow. Finding Noel symbolizes that I can now learn more about me, adding onto 'Tracy' the person, just as Noel adds onto 'Tracy' the name.
